Spectra Oven Locked Door

If you have food in a locked oven wait until the oven cools to room temperature before trying to unlatch the door again.

The lock should be in the top center of the door. If there are screws near the top or front that attach the oven top to the base unscrew them and pull the oven top up. The door must be fully opened and each hinge must be locked down against the door frame. Push it in until the oven cavity light goes off indicating that the oven believes the door is closed.

If the oven is empty of food and utensils initiate a self clean cycle. If it doesn t move freely wait for the oven to cool a little longer and try again. 1 remove power to the oven unplug the oven from the power outlet or flip the circuit breaker for the oven.
