Once taken apart use gum out or a similar type of cleaner to clean the inside of the lock and all moving parts.
Take about ten minutes to disassemble clean and reassemble the entire door lock.
Spray the hinges after you wipe them clean with a cotton or microfiber cloth.
Squeeze gently near center of tube to dispense.
Spray the lubricant into the keyhole itself and then spray it on the key.
