This was a replacement for the one we had on our 2002 wrangler that was totaled out in an accident. Reviewed in the united states on april 29 2017 i didn t have a lot of trouble installing this. A roof rack can be a great product to add extra storage space to a vehicle. In these days when americans are increasingly opting to purchase smaller vehicles than they used to that extra space can really come in handy.

1 the kit claims to be boltless this is not true. Only issue was in the instructions it had you assemble the entire rear portion of the rack and put it on together 3 separate parts total when it was much easier to do it piece by pice. Smittybilt src roof racks constructed from high quality steel tubing and supported with heavy duty bracketry the smittybilt src roof rack system provides extreme toughness confident stability and superb convenience making it the complete package. Works great for all of those long things that you need to carry. The quality is great and the appearance is great. Then you have to make the holes bigger in the roof rack for the stock bumper not easy.

Then there are the odd shaped items that can be hard to fit into any cars or suv we re talking sports equipment like bikes or skis or perhaps tools like ladders. The front crossbar with the roof up soft top makes it sound like a class 4 hurricane but i still like it. The rack is great. Was difficult to mount in the back.

Can t use the rear bumper that was on the car. Sturdy rugged actually much beefier than i anticipated.
