I use dual stick in dogfights canyon flying etc and the throttle for set it and forget it flying like entering and exiting atmo.

The other advantage although specific to the thrustmaster t 16000m hotas is that you don t have to make some weird compromise for an unintuitive up down thrust. If your input is not listed it means its input 1 or hotas. Your throttle is like 2 or 3.
